What travel insurance is, is a policy that will cover costs related to accidents, or what insurers call insured events, as they relate to travel. Usually, what’s implied is air travel, but this isn’t necessarily only air travel. you can purchase insurance all sorts of travel. But for the most, air travel is what’s referred to. And within the context of air travel, you can expect to have included as a part of the benefits list, a benefit that will reimburse you for costs as they relate to the occurrence of lost luggage, i.e. lost by the airline or airport.
